Our laying hens, affectionately known as "the girls," have the luxury of an expansive 8-acre space where they can freely explore, forage under the sun, and enjoy the purity of fresh air. They are provided with multiple large housing that include cozy nests for egg-laying, elevated roosts for secure and peaceful slumber, and protective shelter under a roof to shield them from the elements. To ensure the girls' stress-free existence, we have enlisted the help of two dedicated Great Pyrenees livestock dogs, named Wyatt and Doc. These vigilant canines work tirelessly to ward off potential predators and safeguard the tranquility of our cherished hens.
